Contruction of the Monte Lirio bridge in the Gatun River valley area.  The Monte Lirio bridge was constructed to allow floating equipment to enter the large unused northern portion of Gatun Lake.  This bridge was used during the construction U.S. Navy pipeline in November 6, 1942.  Visit the Navy Pipeline and Monte Lirio Bridge presentation here on CZ Images by clicking here.
