Another photo was taken sometime in 1940 by Dick Brown's father.  After looking at this photo closely and comments by CZ Image visitors, I have to say that this photo was taken on what is today 4th of July Avenue.  The buildings in the rear will eventually be the Ancon Inn (building with flat wall) and the other building becoming Gran Morrison.  Two great points of interest is the Sears Roebuck sign across the street and the 1940 Panama license plate with the head of Balboa embossed on it.  Great old photo...

This is another wonderful vintage photo from the Dick Brown collection.
