I found this photo while looking through tons of photos and negatives that my folks have. This photo is a rare one indeed taken by my Dad in New York City harbor. He and my Mom are on their way to Panama from the looks of the other photos taken that day. This may be the trip my Mom took going to Panama for the first time. I am leaning towards 1950. The setting is off of pier or dock 64, which belonged to the Panama Line. The ship at dock is the Cristobal and my folks are on either the Ancon or Panama. Below is a zoom in of the dock so you can read "Panama Line" and the number 64 which is the dock number. Many Zonians came and went at this dock.
