Here is a view of the same area as in photo #1 eight months later.   This photo must have been taken from the area of the two bachelor quarter buildings.  It is truly amaizing how barin this land is compared to today.  The jungle sure takes the land back.  Herb lived in the house on the left which ironically my brother lives in today.
