This is a priceless postcard showing one of the new Alco Diesel locomotives pulling out of Colon / Cristobal train station.  Note the Cristobal Commissary on the post card's right. Front street is seen in the distance.  This is when the P.R.R. was still using the old Colon station.  It later moved where you see the cement slab by the locomotive.  Where the old commissary was (before it burned down) is a parking lot now.
