I was stationed in Panama with the USAF. I was a Life Support Specialist. My tour of duty was from Dec. 1969 to July of 1971. Wish I was back, the older I get the more I hate the winters in Wyoming.

BHS 70 will be holding their 35th class reunion in Panama June 16-19th starting with "Thursday Night at the Yacht Club" at the BYC on June 16th at 6pm. If you are in the area feel free to join us! Panama is more beautiful than remembered. My husband and I recently bought an apartment in Albrook with hopes of retiring there full time in the near future.

I'm so glad I stumbled onto your website, I lived in Panama in 1983 for a year, I was a teacher of English and sometimes would teach the Panama Canal folk. But most of the time worked in Panama, on Via Espana and Via Brazil at a school. I fell in love w/ Panama, and have been back many times, it has changed, and I'm always amazed at how much! I remember so well how neat things looked before, everything painted, mowed, looked good, now everything has been neglected and ignored. Such a shame. I like to stay at the Gamboa Resort, it has a feel I can relate to. I just listened to a book tape called "The Path Between The Seas" and it made me homesick for Panama. Thank you again for your website!

Thanks for the memories. I was stationed at Ft.Clayton 33rd. Infantry from June 1932 to may 1935. I have lots of photos taken during that period but I am certain that you have plenty by now. Due to the passage of time, I am now 91 years of age and going strong. Again thanks. Jack Kirschbaum

Very nice, I visited to remember my home, I have not been back to Panama since the early 1980's. I miss Panama and hope to visit again one day, several members of my family do come down there a couple times per year.
