Thank you for bringing back the memories that I have always had. I was an Air Force Brat station @ Howard AFB from July of 1967 to January of 1970. I went to Curundu Jr. High. Remember the cafatorium with the dome? My dad was the swim coach for the Howard AFB swim team, and was the coach for the first ever "Turkey Bowl" played in the zone. I showed my husband Thatcher Ferry bridge, as he HATES suspension bridges, and told him that I took that to school twice a day on a school bus. Thank you for giving me a site that I can show my husband, kids and grandchildren of a place that I lived that still holds wonderful memories, and was a great place to grow up as a teenager.

I loved Panama while I was there. Can't get enough of the history and the pictures. I hope to go back and tour all the places I saw back in the 80's before Just Cause. Panama means a lot to me, and I hope that someday I can go back and retire, or at least spend some time there.

What a neat site. So many photos. I worked at the Summit VLF station and then at the IANTN at Farfan in the early 80's.
