We are all looking forward to seeing you for our 30th class reunion. Please have a safe trip to Tampa & don't worry Jac, what you forget, I'll remember so you don't have to take notes. After all, what are friends for?
Billy Mac you've done a great job with this homepage! Sorry we missed the 30th -- we were thinking of all of you though. So many names on the list of attendees that we would have liked to visit with. I decided life was too short to squander on stress and after 12 years I quit Allstate. My oldest son (Charlie - age 24) and I took an 8 week course and are now tooling around the USA as a big-rig driving team! Lisa is still with US Immigration and recently interviewed for a GS-14 position in Oklahoma City. We'll let you know if we move again. Meanwhile, we're enjoying our children and grandchildren and after 28 good years we're still enjoying each other too. Again, sorry to have missed seeing everyone. We won't miss the 35th! Well we pulled off another great party! I am sorry some classmates missed this one...it was the best yet! We were the talk of the reunion I have to say because of our turn out and we opened the doors to the public at 10pm and we had a mass of other people joining us! We danced and laughed and got lots of hugs and kisses. I was pleased to see so many classmates stick around for the rest of the Panama Canal Society reunion. We partied and danced for 4 days straight! Let's do it again soon! I think Myke Smith gets the dance cup trophy! Whew! Myke was dancing up a storm for 3 days straight! Of course, Larry Hele and Steve Wilson were right behind dancing with their share of lovely classmates! I think Maggie Baker gets the award in the women's dancing division...I don't think I remember her ever sitting down for 4 days! Laurie, Vicki, Bill...we made a great team! I want to thank you for taking the time to gather us all together again to make our class reunion a success.
I think the home page is wonderful. Reading all the messages from classmates makes e really homesick. Was very sorry that I was unable to make the 2000 REUNION but next time. Anyway I was there in thoughts. I noticed one message read looking for lost classmates, Rick Pratchett is here in San Antonio at 10606 Sandy Trail, San Antonio Texas 78240 and Stella Tremblay was here...cant find her address. Many hellos and greetings to all my friends and look forward to getting emails and hearing from them soon. Will be sending photos and bio later.
What a wonderful class reunion!!! We were so thrilled that so many of our classmates were able to attend and that for many, this was their first reunion. We had the largest class reunion in Tampa, even beating out the "youngsters" from 80 & 75. Just goes to show, we still have what it takes to be a "wild", party group. After every class reunion my husband Ed remarks as to what a really nice group of people my classmates are-I couldn't agree more. It was a pleasure to work on the reunion committee with Jac, Bill & Laurie. It was wonderful to see each of you & how we have "all grown up." We hope that you all stay healthy & safe and join us next year at the annual Class of 70 Happy Hour at the the Panama Canal Society 2001 Reunion in Orlando. Hugs to you all.
This home page only gets BETTER! It is a pleasure to visit it often and read what other "Bulldogs" have to say! Keep up the good work Bill! Speaking of GOOD work, how many other Bulldogs enjoyed our 30th reunion as much as I did? Good heavens! I just kick myself for missing all the ones I did miss! My hat is off to Bill, Vicki, Jacque and Laurie...(hope I didn't miss anyone else) you all did such a terrific job! I know I heard a lot of nice remarks about that Thursday nite at the CZ reunion, and it made me feel so lucky to be able to attend! Thanx again to you who accomplished so much so that the rest of us could have such a memorable time! Hope to see you all again next year!
I would like to thank Audrey and Rudy for spending their time helping to put together the goodies for the class reunion. And a big thanks to Art for taking the time to put together the slide show....it was great
don't forget...we will be meeting at the next reunion in Orlando for our annual "cocktail" party at the Pagoda bar!
And send in your pics of the reunion to Bill...we all would love to see them! Of course, any bad ones of me will be deleted on the spot!! So edit out that double chin!
BILL, THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR ALL THE HARD WORK WHICH MADE OUR 30TH REUNION A VERY SPECIAL EVENT. IT WAS GREAT TO RENEW MANY FRIENDSHIPS. IT IS INDEED HARD TO BELIEVE THAT SO MANY OF US HAVE KNOWN EACH OTHER FOR 40+ YEARS. I THINK A LOT OF FOLKS WHO HAD NOT PREVIOUSLY ATTENDED A REUNION WILL NOW START SUPPORTING THE ORGANIZATION SO THAT OUR CHILDREN WILL CONTINUE THE TRADITION.
