I look in from time to time. Thanks for keeping the faith and staying plugged in. ken
I liked it, I didn't see my pops in there though (Robert "Buddy" Mills)
Great home page! I didn't graduate with you, but did go to Junior High 7th, 8th grades. Would have graduated in 70! Not sure who might remember me, but I remember Sweetie Bowen, and Sandy Chesson. Had a great time during those years! Took me back to Junion High! I was not able to graduate with you in '70', as my stay was short. I went to school there 7th and 8th grades. Still have very fond memories. I even have an old Slam book from back them. My daughter thinks found that pretty funny! Fond memories of many. Sweetie, if you read this please contact me! Tried your Email, didn't work.
I just found the BHS Class of '70 home page and I love it. Sure brought back fond memories. I will keep reading to find out what everyone is up to. Would love to hear about the 30th reunion. Thanks, Mindy
Hello Bill and classmates. Just checking in and letting you know where I am. I was off line for several weeks and it was great to surf back in and see what was new. Keep up the good work.
The BHS/CHS 30th class reunion will be held in conjunction with the Panama Canal Society Reunion in 2000.The event will take place over the July 4th weekend with the Class of 70 Reunion being held on Thursday evening.A cocktail buffet & DJ will be provided and there is a possibility that Chuck & Steve may provide some nostalgic entertainment.Exact dates & cost of the function will be announced in August 99 & packets will be mailed out at that time. IT IS STRONGLY SUGGESTED that you join the Panama Canal Society now - you must be a member of the society to get reduced hotel rates at the Reunion. Email Bill for info on how to join the society. If we do not have your current address or if you have additional Class of 70 addresses, please send to myself, Jacque (vowellja@aol.com), Jane Huff (CHS) (whuff@pan.gbm.net). We want to make this our best reunion yet so start planning to attend!!!!!! If not, Jacque will track you down & haunt you!
Hey!! Just want do you mean Vic? I have turned over a new leaf...I swear! I now rely on voodoo dolls to do my haunting.....I am so pleased that we are finding more and more classmates....and this includes the ones that left before they could graduate with us! Everyone make plans to join the society and come to the reunion. You will have a good time seeing everyone. I promise!!
Your page is great. I had the great opportunity to live in Panama from 1971 to 1974. From the first day I loved the Zone and Panama. The Zonians were great people. It amazed me to see american kids that had only been in the states for short vacations.
I am looking for a few of my friends from that time period any help would be great. I 'll start with one of the more famous ones, KiKi O'brian and follow with Steve Bissell, Kenny Rat??, Bob Tilly, Kirk Dillon, Debbie Elich, KiKi's sisters, Darrel Date, Carol ?? Date, (she married Darrel) Steve O'Donnelll (SOD), JOD, Crow,(not sure what his real name was) Genny Medinger, Beto (a panamian raised by KiKi), Scott Williams, Three sister that lived in the interia (one was Brenda and Scott dated one of the other ones) Flea??, Munchkin?? Debbie Man and a lot more that 25 years has blurred my mind. Please e-mail me any information or how I might get in contact with some of them. I was in the class of '70 in Elizabeth City NC the same town as Lou Bateman's family (understand he was killed a few years back). As you can tell our what we had in common was we all were beach bums and surfing was our life. I miss the zone and all it stands for, I can understand what all of you will miss on 12/31/99.
This is such a flash to the past. Thanks for the great page. I'll be sending Vicki some old black and white photos so hopefully you'll get to see them here soon. There are a couple of good ones of Houston and Smiley on their bicycles...1966! I hope to see you all at the class reunion in 2000--yikes! It's just around the corner.
Great sight... from a BHS 69'er
