MEL!!!! You typed in the wrong email address....But I will find you...Rick had said he had heard from you. Now you need to send a picture and a bio for the class page...

(Jac....I fixed Mel's address)The Class of '70 Web Site is now a year old and it has prospered well in this time period. Because of the site, we have found so many alumni that we had lost contact with.
I was quite disturbed today when I went to check for new signers and found a bunch of graffiti that some low life moron posted on our Guest Book. This is the first time the Class of 70 site has had a moron attack. It is too bad that people have nothing else to do with themselves, but to try and trash someone's property. I have a device that logs in those that visit the Class of 70 site and I have an address of this moron. If they do it again, I will report it to their ISP.
Well on the lighter note like this site is suppose to be about, I hopeyou all have a wonderful Christmas Holiday Season. As dem say in Gamboa, "Compliments of da Season". God Bless all of you.
Bill-Just had to say "Happy Birthday" to our web page & once again thank you for all your hard work.It is truly a special labor of love to keep us all in touch.Thinking of my "zonian family" always bring to mind my favorite quote-"I find as I grow older, the ones I love the most are the ones I loved at first". Vicki
Haven't visited this site for quite awhile. Enjoyed the reunion pictures so much that I might actually attend the CZ reunion with my baby brother, Larry Sheppard, class of 81, next year. Boy, he'll be excited! Bill keep up the great job.
Forgot to mention I got a long letter from Vickie Kleinhenz. She has led one interesting life since she graduated. Wish I could find her letter so I could answer it!
Just found some time to check in on the class page again. Every time I do I see more and more familiar names checking in. Enjoyed Jac's reunion photos -- good to see Sweetie Bowen and Jan Farnsworth; good to see news of Nancy Boyd and Laurie McBride and Karen Husum, etc. Sure planning to be at next year's reunion. Thanks for all your hard work, Bill. Merry Christmas everybody!
Everything is great, but I graduated in 1971, Clifton Day was the one who graduated in 1970.
Original yearbook pix. Lost mine (that's mine, not mind) and can't put face to name for many. Else info on how to replace (other than repeating process for which of course there isn't time 'cause if you count summers it took me about seven years to graduate). Merry Xmas to all!
HAPPY CHRISTMAS MORNING TO ALL Wish for the New Year: That the rest of the Class of 70 will finally get in their Bios & Now pictures. It really doesn't hurt guys. We're all getting close to 50 now. LOL
It is great!!! It ripped my heart out!! I was in the Class of 70 until my Sophomore year. I grew up in the CZ in Rodman (first, very early), then in Farfan. It broke my heart when my parents left for the US (Charleston, SC) in July 1968. My older brother, John Edward Hadstate, Class of 1968, was the only one who got to graduate from Balboa. I've hated him for it ever since.
Could you tell me what happened to Robert Almstead? He was one of my best friends.
Thanks and keep up the good work!!
Jim Hadstate
Gee Laurie....thanks!! I just needed that reminder that we are ALL getting close to the BIG 5-0! But y ou know...we still party with the best of them....only we go to bed earlier.....it was hard at the reunion to stay out later than my daughter!! But I was determained and managed to do it!! Come on people...I still have some BAD photos taken of most of you....don't make me post them here...send in your own!! Of course, Bribes are accepted...LOL
Bill, was just scroling through the alumni list with my brother and noticed that my last name is misspelled and I haven't given you my updated email address.
SHEPPARD is not spelled with an H and put my extra P in there! Also, my email address is the same except for gulf.net instead of cheney.net.
Hope you had a great Christmas and will have a wonderful New Year. I've only been down in Tampa for two days and have already sen two Zonians. My brother (!!!) and his friend Richard Murphy (CHS 78). He has another Zonian neighbor - Kyle Barsness (BHS 81). You critters come out of the walls in the Tampa area!
