Finally getting to a long overdue thanks to you, Vicki, and Jacque for spearheading our great reunion last month. Thanks to all your "support crew" as well. Was a wonderful weekend ... so enjoyed seeing so many of our class after all these years. (Can it REALLY by 30?? Still hard for me to believe!) What an awesome reunion! Many thanks to all who pulled it together and arranged such a memorable weekend! My toes are still tingling from all the fancy footwork (Myke - I don't recall you dancing like that in high school!). It was a great time - one I will cherish for the next ten years, until the 40th. Long over due, but thanks to ALL of you that put this reunion together. I have attended several and this by far has been the best. It was nice renewing friendships from 30 years ago and continuing those that I have seen over the years. We do have the best class and certainly know how to have fun. I think its a great idea! I also believe you should expand to other classes as well other school such as Cristobal High School. There will never be another era as the Panama Canal Zone and all ex-Zonians from the Pacific side or the Atlantic side. BEST of LUCK!

I got this email from Evelyn Tienken....thought I would pass it on to the class of 70.

Dear 'wasters, I need your prayers tonight. My brother, Fred, fell off an 8' wall & shattered his right leg (the femur is lodged in the ankle joint) broke both ankles & shattered the heels. His left leg is broke too. I just left the hospital, he is in tremendous pain. They will operate on Friday to try to repair what they can on his right leg & to put pins in both ankles and his left leg. The surgery is expected to last about 6-8 hours. The right bone is pretty well shattered. At this point, we do not know how many surgeries he will require, or if he will ever walk on that leg again. Needless to say, my mom & I are devastated. Please include a special prayer for him. He is in good sprits tho, I asked him if he thought he was superman & he replied, "Well, I guess I'm not, I didn't fly!"

I will keep you updated about Fred.

This is the latest email I got from Fred's sister Evelyn.

Hey all! Fred has been strolling the boulevard, or I should say "rolling"! He was given his personal wheels yesterday & took off to see the sights. (Not that there is a lot to see!) He went downstairs & across the road to the smoking area to enjoy a cigarette for the first time since Wed, Fool should have just quit! LOL & MY big news, for those of you that have been rooting for me.....I got the county job! They called me last nite at 9:30! Whoo Hoo! I am one happy camper! Thank all for you for your prayers & support! I love you guys, even if ya are a bunch of perverts! LOL I guess it takes one to know one, huh! Kisses!XOXOXOXO
